Plant/Yard Manager Job Description (Full-time)
We are Looking for an individual who has knowledge and passion for plants, a good work ethic and great attitude!
Expectations of our Plant/Yard Manager:
Monitor incoming/outgoing inventory of landscape and plant material to ensure adequate supply and place orders as necessary.
Operate machinery to timely load material for customers, deliveries, and/or scheduled projects.
Maintain good communication with office at all times regarding information on deliveries, inventory, and customer purchases or inquiries
Maintain all plant material by monitoring watering times, soil conditions and plant positions
Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and giving recommendations based on customer needs
Requirements:
Knowledge of plants and landscape/construction industry is preferred
Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently
Strong time management and ability to organize tasks
Excellent communication skills and management ability to work with other team members
Experience is helpful, but not necessary – we will train the right person
Great pay, 401K and Profit-Sharing plans plus paid holidays. Opportunities to grow within the company.
Pay rate will vary based on experience and education.
